PFC, MMRDA Sign Rs 1 Trillion MoU at India Global Forum

The India Global Forum (IGF) summit was a two-day summit held at the Jio World Convention Centre. The summit brought together CEOs, investors, and policymakers to discuss India’s future in an uncertain world. It saw the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Power Finance Corporation (PFC), a leading non-banking financial company, and the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA).

The MoU outlines financial assistance up to Rs 1000 billion from PFC to develop infrastructure projects in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR). This is not the first collaboration between the two, as PFC had previously extended funds for various infra projects. The MoU is intended to strengthen the relationship between the two parties and encourage greater collaboration. It was signed in the presence of the CM and Deputy CM of Maharashtra, the Director of PFC, and the Commissioner of MMRDA, as well as various other officials of PFC and MMRDA.
