PM Modi Launches Rs 134.80 Bn Development Push in Bihar

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 24 April unveiled development projects worth over Rs 134.80 billion in Madhubani, Bihar, marking Panchayati Raj Day celebrations.

The initiatives include power projects of Rs 50.3 billion, a Rs 3.4 billion LPG bottling plant in Gopalganj, and the launch of new rail lines and services like the Amrit Bharat Express and Namo Bharat Rapid Rail. Modi also distributed Rs 9.3 billion under DAY-NRLM to Self Help Groups and sanctioned PMAY-Gramin benefits to over 1.5 million rural families.

The projects aim to create jobs, boost connectivity, and improve living standards in Bihar.
