At a press conference held at Lok Sewa Bhawan in Guwahati, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that the state government would be organizing the summit with the aim of further enhancing investment and infrastructure development in Assam. Sarma further revealed that three groups from Assam would visit countries such as Singapore, Japan, the USA, the UK, and Dubai to promote the Assam Advantage 2.0 summit through roadshows. Moreover, the state government plans to organize a Mega Jhumoir Dance during the summit, which will take place on either February 24 or 25, with around 7,500 dancers and artists from the tea garden areas of Assam participating in the event.
