Poltrona Frau Unveils Infinitamente 2.0

"Poltrona Frau has unveiled Infinitamente 2.0, an extra-large dining table designed by Roberto Lazzeroni for Milan Design Week 2026.

The new table follows the limited-edition Infinito table launched in 2021 and the Infinitamente table introduced in 2023. Infinitamente 2.0 retains the marble top while adding two legs upholstered in Pelle Frau leather, marking its entry into Poltrona Frau’s permanent collection.

The launch forms part of Poltrona Frau’s True Over Time collection, which focuses on design that endures across generations. The collection highlights furniture designed to be lived in, reinterpreted and cherished over time.

Infinitamente 2.0 has been developed as a generous version of the Infinito table. Measuring over three metres in length, it can seat up to twelve people. Its staggered double-oval marble top refers to the complementary forms of Yin and Yang, as well as symbols of infinity and prosperity.

The table features helicoidal legs with gently chamfered surfaces, upholstered in Pelle Frau leather using a technique also applied to luxury car dashboards. The Pelle Frau ColorSphere Impact Less leather allows different colour combinations to complement the marble top and surrounding chairs.

The design traces its origins to the Infinito table, presented by Lazzeroni in 2021 as a numbered limited edition. That table was crafted from an exclusive block of Rosso Lepanto marble acquired by Poltrona Frau. In 2023, Lazzeroni reinterpreted the concept with Infinitamente, produced in a limited series with a white Versilia marble top in medium and large sizes.

Infinitamente 2.0 features a marble top carved from a single slab and divided into two opposing sections. The underside of each section is reinforced with a technical mesh to improve resistance to bending, breakage and impact. A stainless steel blade insert finishes the joint line between the two parts.

The marble options include Bianco Carrara, Calacatta, Arabescato Venato and Ombra di Caravaggio. Finishes include polished marble, semi-polished marble and naturally polished marble. The polished finish is treated with a transparent polyester coating for improved surface durability and liquid resistance, while the semi-polished finish receives an oleo-hydro repellent treatment.

The base consists of two supports, each made of three elements joined by internal beech pins and metal plates inserted above and below the MDF sub-top. The bases are made from MDF and birch plywood, while the legs are upholstered in Pelle Frau ColorSphere Impact Less leather.

Infinitamente 2.0 will debut on April 14 during Milan Design Week at the Poltrona Frau flagship store on Via Manzoni 30 in Milan. The collection will later be available at selected Poltrona Frau stores worldwide and through its e-shops in key European markets."
