Takyon Networks Secures Rs 8.3 mn HAL Order For Network Components

Takyon Networks Ltd has received a work order worth Rs 8.3 million (mn) from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) for the supply and installation of active network components. The company disclosed the development through a regulatory filing with the BSE on May five, 2026, and said the contract is a domestic award scheduled for execution within 90 days with completion targeted by 31 July 2026. The project covers both product supply and on-site deployment, signalling an integrated delivery scope rather than simple procurement. The order follows growing demand for enterprise networking solutions in government and defence-linked projects.

The filing put the contract value at Rs 8.3 mn and characterised the scale of the assignment as medium, noting that the work is unlikely to materially alter consolidated revenue in the near term. Nevertheless, the engagement contributes to order book momentum and offers project visibility during the current financial year. The company will be responsible for installation activities in addition to equipment supply, indicating a full-service engagement that includes configuration and testing. Such contracts can help vendors expand credentials within institutional procurement cycles.

Managing Director Manish Kumar Sharma notified the stock exchange that the company had received the order and submitted the disclosure under Regulation 30 of SEBI's Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements. The statement clarified that neither the promoter group nor related entities hold any interest in the awarding organisation and that the transaction does not constitute a related-party arrangement. The disclosure framed the contract as an arm's-length commercial engagement and spelled out the company's intention to honour compliance and reporting norms. This representation is aimed at assuring investors of procedural propriety.

With the completion deadline in July 2026, operational focus will centre on timely delivery and effective site integration. Successful execution would strengthen relations with large institutional and government customers. The contract reinforces appetite for upgraded networking infrastructure across industrial and defence ecosystems and underlines the role of systems integrators in delivering end-to-end connectivity solutions. Takyon Networks is positioned to translate this project into further institutional opportunities.
