VerSe Appoints Prasanna Prasad as CPTO

VerSe Innovation has appointed Prasanna Prasad as Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO) to lead its engineering, product and data science functions, with a focus on advancing AI-led innovation across its platforms including Dailyhunt, Josh, NexVerse.ai, Magzter and Oneindia.

Prasad brings over two decades of experience in product engineering, data science and large-scale platform development. He previously served as Chief Technology Officer & Head of Product and AI at Verve Group Inc., where he led global teams and drove AI-led growth through automation, advanced data modelling and privacy-first systems.

In his new role, he will focus on strengthening AI capabilities across VerSe’s content creator ecosystem and digital advertising platforms. His mandate includes enhancing personalisation, improving content relevance, supporting high-quality content creation, and advancing next-generation advertising technologies through automation and agentic AI systems.

The appointment comes as VerSe accelerates its AI-led product strategy, aiming to build intelligent systems that improve user engagement, creator outcomes and monetisation efficiency.
