Himachal Pradesh government has planned to allot 27 hydropower projects having a combined tentative generation capacity of 722.4 MW, proposals for which have been invited for implementation. These projects are located in Chamba, Kangra, Lahaul-Spiti, Kullu, Shimla and Kinnaur districts and will be executed on build, own, operate and transfer (BOOT) basis.
