K2 Infragen appoints D K Raju to lead HAM projects

K2 Infragen has appointed D K Raju as Senior Vice President to lead its Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) project portfolio, strengthening the company's execution capabilities as it expands its infrastructure business.

Raju brings more than 27 years of experience in infrastructure project execution, planning, quantity surveying, tendering and technical operations. He has previously held senior positions at HG Infra Engineering, Allone Infra and Techno Unique Infratech.

In his new role, Raju will oversee execution of K2 Infragen's Rs 3.91 billion Telangana road project under the Hybrid Annuity Model, including planning, stakeholder coordination, supply chain management and project delivery.

The appointment follows recent project wins by the company, including the Telangana HAM road contract and a Rs 1.59 billion railway electrification project awarded by Konkan Railway Corporation. K2 Infragen said these orders have increased its estimated order book to around Rs 10 billion, up from Rs 5.18 billion in May 2026.

Pankaj Sharma, Founder and Managing Director, K2 Infragen, said the appointment reinforces the company's focus on strengthening execution capabilities as it undertakes larger infrastructure projects across roads, railways and power utilities.

The company said the move forms part of its strategy to transition into a professionally managed infrastructure enterprise capable of delivering complex public infrastructure projects at scale.
