WOLFFKRAN Appoints Dr Peter Schiefer as Group CEO

WOLFFKRAN has announced a leadership transition, with Dr. Peter Schiefer set to assume the role of Group CEO effective April 1, 2026.
Dr. Schiefer, currently Delegate of the Board of Directors, previously served as CEO from 2005 to 2019. He will succeed Duncan Salt, who will step down from the global role and transition to Regional CEO and Board Member for the Middle East and APAC region.
The restructuring is aimed at strengthening the company’s leadership in line with its international expansion strategy. Over the past decade, WOLFFKRAN has expanded its global footprint and more than doubled its revenue, evolving into a key global provider of tower cranes and related services.
“We are convinced that this is the right step to position our leadership for the future. With Duncan Salt, we are placing an industry expert in a role where his expertise will have the greatest impact. Together, we successfully entered the Saudi market, and we will continue along this path of growth”, said Dr. Peter Schiefer.
“I am excited to focus even more on the group’s growth markets and establish WOLFFKRAN's global presence in areas of strong construction activity”, added Duncan Salt.
The company has strengthened its presence across key markets including the US, France and the GCC region, with recent expansions in Saudi Arabia. The leadership change is expected to support continued growth across these regions.
