Godrej Enterprises Group opens forklift training centre in Pune

Godrej Enterprises Group has inaugurated a Forklift Training Center in Bhosari, Pune, through RenTRUST, the rental arm of its Material Handling Equipment business, to support youth skilling, improve workplace safety and strengthen India’s manufacturing and warehousing ecosystem.
Spread across 2,000 sq ft, the dedicated facility is designed to train and certify forklift operators through structured classroom learning, safety-first practices and hands-on assessments. The centre can train over 45 candidates per month, catering to growing demand for certified operators across factories, warehouses and logistics hubs in and around Pune.
As part of its diversity and inclusion focus, the programme offers a 50 per cent training fee concession for women candidates, widening access to skilled industrial roles. To date, the Material Handling Equipment business has trained and certified over 3,500 operators nationwide and plans to upskill an additional 500 operators by FY26.
Commenting on the initiative, Anil Lingayat, Business Head, Material Handling Equipment business, Godrej Enterprises Group, said the centre creates a structured pipeline of job-ready, safety-trained operators to support sustained growth in manufacturing and logistics.
The Pune centre is a strategic move by RenTRUST, which operates one of India’s largest rental fleets of material handling equipment. Godrej Enterprises Group said the initiative aligns skills with industry requirements while improving employability, productivity and safety standards across shop floors and warehouses.
