Godrej wins 98 MWp solar project in Haryana

Godrej Enterprises Group has secured an order to develop a 98 MWp (70 MW AC) open-access solar power plant in Sirsa, Haryana, marking its largest project by capacity and the biggest of its kind in the state.
Awarded by Hexa Climate Solutions, the project will be executed on a turnkey basis by the Group’s Energy Solutions business. Once operational, the plant is expected to generate approximately 1,470 lakh kWh of clean energy annually.
Commenting on the development, Raghavendra Mirji, Executive Vice President & Business Head, Energy Solutions, Godrej Enterprises Group, said, “This project is a proud milestone for us and reinforces our role in India’s renewable energy transition… By developing Haryana’s largest open-access solar installation, we are furthering that legacy while helping industries move towards cleaner and more reliable energy.”
The project will deploy bifacial TopCon modules with string inverters and smart monitoring systems to optimise performance. It is expected to reduce over 75,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions annually, equivalent to planting around 3.5 million trees.
With this order, Godrej strengthens its renewable energy portfolio, having already executed 98 MWp of solar installations across India, and continues to support industrial decarbonisation and regional infrastructure development.
