Ramco Cements bags Apex India Gold award for health and safety

The Ramco Cements Alathiyur plant received Gold Category award in the Apex India Occupational Health and Safety Awards, 2020.

At an awards ceremony organised on April 6 in New Delhi, the awards were given away by Major General (Retd) PK Saighal, defence expert and TEDx speaker, and Subhash Chandra Bhasin, former General Manager, Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL).

More than 150 companies participated from various sectors including cement, power, steel and automobile. Ramco Cements had participated in the cement category and had made a presentation to the jury panel headed by RK Suri, former Director, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MOEF) and Subhash Chandra Bhasin.
