Green NOD for airports at belagavi, Ajmer

A high-level Environment Ministry panel has given the nod to the development of no-frill airports at Kishangarh in Rajasthan´s Ajmer and Belagavi in Karnataka. The domestic airport´s facility, with a 2,152-m-long runway, is expected to cover 441.7-acre, whereas the existing 360.34 acre of Belagavi airport will get additional 370 acre. The project is estimated to cost around Rs 293.35 crore.
