AAI floats 1 MW solar tender for Begumpet Airport, Hyderabad

The Airports Authority of India has invited bids for the supply of a 1 MW capacity solar power project at Begumpet Airport, Hyderabad. The last date for submitting bids is December 13, 2022, and bids will be opened on December 15, 2022.

The tender includes design and engineering, manufacture/procurement, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning including warranty obligation with comprehensive operation and maintenance.The estimated cost of the project is Rs 4.49 million. The bidders must have experience with ground-mounted solar power projects.

Recently, 14 airports out of 125 airports, falling under the Airport Authority of India, achieved decarbonisation with 100% renewable energy.
