Bengaluru's Kempegowda Airport to create 12,000 jobs in 2 yrs: BIAL CEO

Hari Marar, CEO of Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL), announced during a discussion on ""Bangalore transformation"" at the Soul Bangalore Business Conclave that Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru is set to generate approximately 12,000 jobs within the next two years. He highlighted the remarkable growth in Bengaluru's business, industry, and transport sectors, which have surpassed all expectations.

Marar emphasised that the airport's progress serves as a national model. Prior to the opening of the second terminal, the airport employed 25,000 people. With the expansion, the workforce has grown to 38,000 employees, and it is projected to further increase to 50,000 over the next two years.
