Maharashtra Govt clears elevated corridor project

Maharashtra Government gave in-principle approval to the Rs 21,000-crore Elevated Rail Corridor Project between Oval Maidan and Virar in Mumbai.The project involves setting up of a 63.27-km two-track corridor along the existing Churchgate-Virar section through PPP model. The project will be implemented on DBFOT basis.
