Vikaspuri-Wazirabad signal-free corridor to open by year-end

The Vikaspuri-Wazirabad signal-free corridor is slated to open by year end with the Delhi Government setting December 31 as a deadline. The project has four components that involve construction of four flyovers at different traffic intersections Vikaspuri-Meera Bagh elevated corridor; Mangolpuri-Madhuban Chowk elevated corridor; Madhuban Chowk to Mukarba Chowk elevated corridor and Mukarba Chowk to Wazirabad signal-free project. The project is already behind schedule considering of its completion date of mid-2015, with around 30-40 per cent of the work yet to be completed at different stretches.
