Artefact Projects Secures NHAI Consultancy Order

Artefact Projects Limited (Artefact Projects) has been awarded a consultancy contract by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) worth Rs 31.58 mn for supervision consultant services in Tamil Nadu. The company disclosed the award in exchange filings, stating the contracted amount in rupees as Rs 3,15,84,415 prior to conversion. The announcement identifies Artefact Projects as the successful bidder in the procurement process and frames the engagement as a fixed term consultancy. The firm indicated the contract forms part of its infrastructure services portfolio.

The assignment covers supervision consultant responsibilities for the operation and maintenance of a two-lane road with a paved shoulder on NH 544H. The specified stretch runs from Thoppur to Mettur to Bhavani to Erode and spans 85 kilometres within the state. The scope is described as covering routine oversight, quality assurance and compliance monitoring during the operation phase. The contract includes periodic performance reviews annually.

The consultancy engagement is scheduled for 36 months and the contracted fees are stated to be exclusive of GST. The work was awarded to Artefact Projects as the highest-ranking H1 bidder and will be undertaken in a joint venture with Pioneer Infra Consultants Private Limited, in association with Renaissance IOT LLP. The arrangement allocates roles among the partners for implementation and reporting to the client authority. The partners will coordinate technical oversight, reporting and site inspections as part of the supervision mandate.
