Five vehicles fall into gap as bridge near Malanka village collapses, four injuries reported

Five vehicles plunged into the river on Sunday when a 60-ft-long bridge near Malanka village near Junagadh in Gujarat collapsed due to heavy rainfall. While the bridge broke apart in the middle, the cracks were reportedly visible up to 500 m of the bridge.

Four injuries have been reported so far; no loss of life has been reported. The exact number of injuries and quantum of damages are yet to be ascertained. About two cars and three two-wheelers were reportedly stuck under the debris after slabs of the bridge crashed.
