IRB Infra Trust Wins NHAI TOT Project in Uttar Pradesh

IRB Infrastructure Trust has recently secured a toll operate and transfer (TOT) project from NHAI in Uttar Pradesh for an upfront payment of Rs 92.7 billion. The award falls under NHAI’s ongoing asset monetisation programme.
The Letter of Award covers a 366-km bundle comprising stretches of the Lucknow–Ayodhya–Gorakhpur corridor on NH-27 and part of the Lucknow–Varanasi corridor on NH-731. The concession will be revenue-linked and span 20 years, according to IRB Infrastructure Developers, which manages the InvIT.
IRB Infrastructure Trust, sponsored by IRB Infrastructure Developers, remains one of India’s largest private toll road and highways developers, with an asset portfolio exceeding Rs 800 billion across 12 states through its parent entity and two InvITs.
