IRB InvIT declares Q2 distribution of Rs 1.625 per unit

IRB InvIT Fund has announced a distribution of Rs 2.69 billion for the second quarter of FY27, translating into a payout of Rs 1.625 per unit. The distribution comprises Rs 1.475 per unit as interest and Rs 0.15 per unit as return of capital.

The record date has been set as 3 November 2026, with payment to unitholders scheduled on or before 11 November 2026. With this payout, the trust’s cumulative distributions since listing have reached Rs 54.99 billion.

The announcement was made following a board meeting of IRB Infrastructure, the investment manager to the trust.

For Q2 FY27, the trust reported gross income of Rs 5.14 billion, compared with Rs 2.78 billion in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. EBITDA increased to Rs 3.59 billion from Rs 2.33 billion. The distribution for the quarter stood at Rs 2.69 billion, against Rs 1.92 billion in Q2 FY26.

The gross income includes contributions from three highway assets acquired in November 2025 and excludes one asset transferred to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) in September 2026 following the completion of its concession period.

During the quarter, the trust acquired two revenue-generating build-operate-transfer (BOT) highway assets: the Solapur-Yedeshi section of NH-52 in Maharashtra and the Chittorgarh-Gulabpura section of NH-48 in Rajasthan. The acquisitions were valued at Rs 46.05 billion.

Commenting on the additions, Rushabh Gandhi, Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer, IRB Infrastructure, said the two assets followed the addition of four assets worth Rs 96 billion in FY26. The acquisitions are expected to support toll revenue growth in the coming months.

He added that the trust would continue to explore portfolio expansion opportunities to strengthen its ability to deliver sustainable distributions and long-term value to unitholders.
