Khellani Tunnel in Doda to be upgraded

Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, has announced the expansion of the Khellani tunnel in Doda to a two-lane structure, including a paved shoulder and improvements to its approach road on NH-244. This project, spanning 2.419 kilometres within Package 3, aims to enhance accessibility in Jammu and Kashmir.

Gadkari emphasised that the upgraded tunnel will ensure year-round access, providing significant benefits to the local economy and residents of the region. He stated that the project aligns with the goal of achieving efficient, trouble-free, and environmentally conscious mobility in Jammu and Kashmir, in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision.

The Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation has awarded the first construction-related consultancy contract for the Lucknow Metro East West Corridor to a joint venture of AYESA Ingenieria Arquitectura SAU and AYESA India Pvt Ltd. Interarch Building Solutions Limited reported unaudited results for the third quarter and nine months ended 31 December 2025, recording strong revenue growth driven by execution and a robust order book.
