District Magistrate Kundan Kumar has directed officials, including executive engineers, to accelerate the work and complete it within the stipulated deadlines while maintaining construction quality. He has also ordered close monitoring of progress and warned that negligence or avoidable delays could invite action against officials.

Around 130 small and large pothole-affected locations were identified across 145 km of roads under the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) after flooding and excessive rainfall. Repairs have been completed at 100 locations, while work at the remaining 30 sites is in progress.
