Refex Wins Rs 328.9 Million NHAI Ash Transport Contract

Refex Industries Ltd has secured a major domestic contract worth Rs 328.9 million to transport pond ash for National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) road development projects. The work is scheduled to be completed within five months.

The Chennai-based company is expanding its footprint in industrial services, particularly in ash and coal handling. Refex Industries also operates in renewable energy and green mobility, supporting broader national infrastructure and sustainability goals.

The company reported a strong financial performance in Q2 FY 2025–26, posting a 20.5 per cent increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 374.4 million. Operating revenue dipped marginally by 0.3 per cent to Rs 4.27 billion compared with the same quarter last year.

Investor sentiment remained positive following the contract win. Refex Industries’ shares closed 8.23 per cent higher at Rs 346.70 on the BSE on Friday, after touching intraday gains during the session.
