Revanth Reddy Inaugurates Road And Water Projects In Nalgonda

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will visit Nalgonda district on Sunday to inaugurate key infrastructure and drinking water projects and to address a public meeting. He is due to arrive at Kanagal AMC Market Yard at three thirty-five p.m., where he will lay the foundation stone for Hybrid Annuity Mode road projects and unveil a commemorative pylon. The programme reflects continued focus on urban and civic infrastructure across the district.

He will then proceed to the Nagarjuna Government Degree College grounds in Nalgonda town at four p.m. to lay the foundation stone for phase one of the Nalgonda Municipal Corporation drinking water scheme, which is estimated to cost Rs 830 million (mn). Following the inaugurations, the Chief Minister is scheduled to speak at the public meeting held at the same venue.

Earlier on Friday the Chief Minister conducted a review meeting on the Musi Riverfront Project at the MCR HRD Bodhi Pavilion in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. Officials reviewed phase one of the Musi Riverfront Project and discussed allotment of double bedroom houses to residents presently living in the Musi riverbed. The session examined implementation timelines and resettlement strategies.

Land acquisition matters were considered, with officials noting that those willing to surrender land should receive Transferable Development Rights or suitable compensation. Relocation of existing structures on Defence land earmarked for the Gandhi Sarovar Project was also discussed. Participants reviewed proposals to ensure orderly clearance and relocation where required.

Plans were advanced for a Musi Experience Centre at Necklace Road to display project developments and to gather public feedback. The meeting was attended by State Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, Member of Parliament Vem Narender Reddy and Special Chief Secretary Jayesh Ranjan, together with project and municipal officials. Senior representatives included Musi Riverfront Development Project Managing Director Narsimha Reddy, MRDCL Joint Managing Director Gauthami, HMDA Commissioner Sarfaraz Ahmed and CMO Secretary Manik Raj.
