Saint Gobain’s latest offering, Gyproc Sound Block is a break through gypsum plasterboard of high density aerated gypsum core bonded to paper liners. This board improves sound insulation by 50 per cent (+3 dB) as compared to plain gypsum plasterboards. Thus, Gyproc Sound Bloc can reduce sound transmission between walls by half and provide a more noise-free environment along with physical performance factors of mechanical strength, fire resistance and light weight. Gyproc Sound Bloc is ideal for partitions between office cabins, conference and meeting rooms, multiplexes, classrooms, banquet rooms, etc, where sound levels below 20 dB are appreciated.
