Sri Lanka Ports Authority will open Colombo Port´s internal roads to transport 5 mn cu m of rock when reclaiming land next to the harbour for the $1.3 bn Chinese-funded ´port city´ project. One entrance will be from the existing Chaithya Road to the old port and the other from the breakwater of the new Colombo South Port.
