ICTT to reduce free period for laden containers

DP World Cochin is planning to reduce the free period for laden containers at International Container Transshipment Terminal (ICTT) at Kochi, from seven days to three days from April 1 onwards citing congestion at the terminal yard and recommendation from the customs. Importers will have to pay more for keeping containers at the terminal.
