Tata Group to invest Rs 10,000 crore

According to the State Ministry for Large and Medium Industries, twelve Tata Group companies will be investing Rs 10,000 crore in Karnataka across sectors. Some of the Tata Group companies interested in investing in the state include Tata Consultancy Services, Tata Consulting Engineers, Tata Realty, Taj Group, Tata International and Tata Housing. Tata Housing has keen interest in industrial housing, on the lines of its housing project in Mumbai (Shubh Griha) in the Rs 4 lakh range. Tata Consulting Engineers was offered 5 acre in Devanahalli by the state government. Apart from this, Tata Metaliks has made plans to invest Rs 7,000 crore for the steel plant in Haveri district.
