Indore Metro's swift construction has sets a new record in India's metro rail development.  Construction of the 6.3 km long metro viaduct was completed within 484 days. Track laying was done in four months and construction of three track turnouts was done in just 27 days, which is a record in the country. The three track turnouts were electrified in 8 days and the coach construction took just 5 months.
