Under the PM Gati Shakti programme, a total of 101 projects related to ports and shipping totaling Rs.608.72 billion have been identified for implementation. Thirteen of them, totaling Rs.44.23 billion, have been finished. Gujarat has the most projects of all the states, with a total estimated cost of Rs.203.99 billion. Each of the 13 projects in Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh is anticipated to cost Rs.99.55 billion and Rs.58.71billion, respectively. An additional funding of Rs.50 billion has been provided to states under the ‘Scheme for Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment for 2022-23.’
