While the union territory government awaits the Centre's response on the provision of special funds for the expansion of Puducherry airport, it is also considering the PPP mode of funding the project. Nearly Rs.4.25 billion is required to acquire 273 acre of land in Tamil Nadu and 20 acre in Puducherry.
