IPSCDL Nears Completion of Smart City Infrastructure in Ribandar, Panaji

The Imagine Panaji Smart City Development Limited (IPSCDL) announced significant progress in the completion of infrastructure works in Ribandar, Panaji, under the Smart City Mission. With more than 90% of the overall project completed, efforts are underway to finalize the remaining tasks within the committed deadline.

Under the project titled 'Development of Smart Ribandar with operations and maintenance of selected facilities', the IPSCDL-appointed contractor is focusing on enhancing sanitation by constructing a network of new sewerage and drainage lines. Additionally, the development of internal roads with bituminisation and the creation of footpaths with kerbs are also underway to improve accessibility and mobility within the area.

A senior official from IPSCDL emphasized, Substantial progress has been achieved in the ongoing Ribandar infrastructure development, with completion rates ranging from 75% to 95%. We remain dedicated to creating a sustainable urban center in Ribandar under the Smart City initiative.

The Smart City Mission projects in Ribandar exemplify collaborative efforts aimed at realizing the Smart City vision. As Ribandar evolves, it serves as a testament to the significance of collaboration and innovation in urban development.

The IPSCDL is investing approximately Rs 69 crore in these development endeavors, reflecting the commitment to fostering sustainable and resilient urban spaces.
