Located in Kala Ghoda, Noir Éclat, an 80 sq ft jewellery boutique by Mint Leaf Design, showcases how compact retail spaces can deliver a high-impact experience. Designed as a ‘jewel box’, the boutique blends Parisian-inspired aesthetics with a monochrome palette of black and white, highlighted by fuchsia accents that add a distinctive visual identity.

The design leverages vertical space to overcome size constraints, featuring sculptural wall-mounted busts arranged in grids that transform product displays into artistic installations. Carefully planned lighting enhances depth and creates a gallery-like ambience, encouraging a slower, immersive browsing experience.

Black cabinetry integrates storage seamlessly while maintaining visual clarity. Curved metal elements introduce movement and layered spatial perception, making the boutique appear larger than its footprint. Subtle fuchsia accents reinforce branding without overpowering the restrained design language.

Efficient circulation planning ensures ease of movement, complemented by a discreet seating area that fosters customer engagement. The project demonstrates how thoughtful design can elevate compact retail environments into memorable and premium experiences.

The final batch of two 3,300 horsepower (hp) locomotives manufactured by Banaras Locomotive Works (BLW) has reached Mozambique, marking completion of an export consignment.
