Paradeep Parivahan Wins LEAPS Award 2025

Paradeep Parivahan Limited has been awarded the LEAPS Award 2025 by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, under the Multimodal Transport Operator category. The recognition was announced on 13 May 2026 and reflects the company's operational excellence and focus on multimodality. Paradeep Parivahan is a BSE SME-listed company (BSE code 544383).

The award was presented at a ceremony in New Delhi and the presentation was made to the company executive director by the union minister responsible for commerce. Selection followed a rigorous multi-stage evaluation including technical submissions, presentations before an expert committee and final assessment by a high-level awards committee. Applicants were evaluated on technological innovation, environmental, social and governance practices, multimodality and operational efficiency.

A total of 71 companies participated across categories, including global logistics operators that compete in multimodal services. Paradeep Parivahan was shortlisted among leading multimodal transport operators and invited to make a dedicated presentation before the evaluation panel, reflecting its growing operational capabilities and long-term strategic vision. The company was founded in 2000 and is headquartered at Paradip Port, Odisha, offering end-to-end logistics, cargo handling and port services. Its client base includes IFFCO, JSW Group companies, Ultratech Cement, Tata Group companies, Ripley Stevedoring and JM Baxi.

The firm emphasised its commitment to sustainability and technology-driven growth and said sustainability forms an integral part of its long-term strategy. In January 2026 the company signed an eight-year agreement with UltraTech Cement to deploy one of India's largest trans-state fleets of electric vehicles (EVs) for bulk transportation. The announcement follows the company's stated plans to build efficient, environmentally responsible logistics solutions aligned with national policy initiatives.

Company leadership said the LEAPS recognition will spur further investment in multimodal capabilities and customer-centric execution, contributing to lower logistics costs and improved supply chain efficiency. It noted plans to support national objectives under the PM GatiShakti master plan and the National Logistics Policy by increasing electric mobility. The award was attributed to the dedication of the company's team and its focus on operational innovation.
