TRUMPF Unveils ‘Material Flow Kit’ for Automated Sheet Metal Transport

TRUMPF, in collaboration with SAFELOG, has launched the ‘Material Flow Kit,’ a simplified automation solution for material transport in sheet metal production. Designed for easy setup and operation, the system eliminates the need for full-scale digitalization by using mobile robots controlled via a web application.

The robots, capable of carrying up to one ton, transport materials across up to nine production stations. Operators can request transport via a web app, reducing downtime and labour dependency. The system also integrates with TRUMPF’s Oseon software for advanced workflow automation.

Unveiled at TRUMPF’s INTECH trade fair, this innovation offers manufacturers a scalable entry into smart factory solutions.
