TVS ILP Leases 80,000 Sq Ft to ATC Tires in Visakhapatnam

TVS Industrial & Logistics Parks (TVS ILP) has leased 80,000 sq ft at its Visakhapatnam park in Andhra Pradesh to ATC Tires AP, a Yokohama Group company. ATC Tires has commenced operations at the facility, which serves as a mother hub warehouse for domestic distribution and exports.

The warehouse supports the storage and distribution of Yokohama passenger car tyres and ALLIANCE, GALAXY and PRIMEX off-highway tyres used in agriculture, construction, industry and forestry. The facility aims to streamline supply chains and improve access to industrial and manufacturing markets across South and East India.

Dr Ramnath Subramaniam, Joint Managing Director, TVS ILP, said the partnership demonstrated how the company’s technology-enabled infrastructure supports customers’ changing operational and supply-chain requirements. He highlighted Visakhapatnam’s connectivity, industrial ecosystem and government incentives as factors attracting businesses.

Jose Motha, General Manager, Supply Chain Management, Yokohama, said the warehouse would complement the company’s manufacturing facility in Visakhapatnam, strengthening logistics infrastructure and operational efficiency.

The development is expected to create local employment opportunities. It also expands TVS ILP’s Grade-A warehousing portfolio and its presence in key economic corridors.
