Himachal cement firms to cut prices

Cement companies in , have been asked by the state government to lower their prices. The state produces 10.11 mn tonne of cement annually, and it was not justified that companies reap a huge profit of Rs 100-150 each of the cement bags sold in the state. A cement manufacturer in the state has agreed to supply the material to the government at Rs 155 each bag against the price of Rs 174 quoted earlier. Contact: Himachal Pradesh Government.
