Coupling right solutions

Miller offers some efficient, easy-to-use coupler designs to enhance a machine's efficiency.

From the very first coupler design launched in the late 1980s in the UK, Miller has constantly ensured that it offers the best couplers that meet the ever-changing demands of the on-site working environment to its users. The company's products are designed to withstand the harshest of environments with temperatures ranging from -42° to 60° C (-44° to 140° F). Their cast steel frame is designed to withstand applications with hydraulic rock breakers, ripper tooth assembles, various size buckets, rock wheels, a host of demolition tools, etc.

This unique design is obtained from the highest grade of steel which provides the user with a hard-wearing and light coupler. Miller casts in the strength where it is needed, providing end-to-end solution that improves fuel efficiency over heavier fabricated designs. "Our design is based on a simple criteria: it's strong, light, easy to use and has minimum moving parts. It's fast, safe and simple," says Gary Miller, Technical Director, Miller.

Raising the bar

It's important that the quality of the components matches that of the quick coupler; hence, every hydraulic cylinder incorporated into the product range is manufactured to the highest standards and tested to withstand the extreme temperatures mentioned above. Also, the installation kits, electronic solenoid assemblies, supporting operator user guides and in-cab decals form part of Miller's value-added coupler proposition. "Our coupler solutions are constantly evolving and our recently launched fully automatic range is already proving a big hit with customers pan India" adds Jacqui Miller, Sales and Marketing Director, Miller. A reliable provider of workable solutions, the company provides coupler designs for machines as small as 1 tonne to hydraulic excavators exceeding 200 tonne.
