Transit mixers have contributed in a big way to our business

- Sohan Singh Bharadwaj, Managing Dirctor, Keso Trans India
A North India-based company, Keso Trans India has a large fleet of transit mixers, tippers and bulkers.

It operates in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh. Sohan Singh Bharadwaj, Managing Dirctor, Keso Trans India, shares more about the company and its offerings.

How have transit mixers contributed to your growth story?
Transit mixers have made things very easy for the construction industry. In earlier times, it was unimaginable to make concrete in one location and use it at another. The end-users have seen immense benefits in using transit mixers, and that has contributed a lot to our business as it has opened up multiple avenues for us.

How is the current economic scenario for doing business?
Construction equipment CAGR is close to 7-7.5 per cent, and there is a rise for replacement requirements with decommissioning of older transit mixers. Newer technologies have come to the fore, which have created a need to update the existing machinery. Mechanisation has brought about significant cost reduction and time saving on the project. Being in the organised sector, the current scenario has given us good opportunities for growth. We are looking forward to the GST. The company has always laid importance on being completely transparent in our transactions, and we have always kept our cash transactions to a minimum. Demonetisation has helped us a lot.

How has the partnership with KYB-Conmat helped your business?
We got associated with KYB-Conmat a while ago, and within three months, we have procured a good number of transit mixers from them for our fleet. We were looking for a good quality product at an economic price range, and that is how we associated with KYB-Conmat. The market was offering cheaper products, which was somewhere compromising on the quality, however, we found KYB-Conmat to be making economic and value-for-money products.

They never compromised on the quality, performance or service of their products. Their fabrication and design has been exceptional, and they are always open to constructive feedback from our end. The relationship with KYB-Conmat is familial and friendly, and it always feels good to interact with them.

What are your future plans?
We are looking for more opportunities for expansion in the field, expansion of territory and expansion of fleet.
