IL&FS bids for Barwa-Adda-Panagarh h'way stretch

IL&FS Transportation Networks has stated that the company has submitted a bid with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for six-laning of Barwa-Adda-Panagarh Section of NII-2 from km 398.240 to km 521.120 including Panagarh Bypass in Jharkhand and West Bengal under NHDP Phase V to be executed on DBFOT basis.

The project is on toll basis with a concession period of 20 years including construction period of 910 days. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 1,665 crore. Further the Company has informed that, the bids were opened on February 11, 2013 by NHAI and the Company has emerged as the lowest bidder for the aforesaid project.
