APL to commission 16,500 MW by 2013
Adani Power (APL) is likely to commission 1,980 MW of generation capacity by the end of the current fiscal and 6,600 MW by mid 2012. It aims to commission 16,500 MW by the end of 2013. This includes Mundra (4,620 MW), Tiroda (3,300 MW), Kawai (1,320 MW), Dahej (2,640 MW), Bhadreshwar (3,300 MW) and Chhindwara (1,320 MW). APL is also setting up transmission lines for evacuating power to the national grid. The major transmission power line projects include 400 km Mundra - Dehgam line, 1,000 km HVDC line between Mundra Mahindragarh in Haryana, 50-km Mahindragarh-Bhiwani line and 200-km line between Tiroda-Warora.
