Kudankulam nuclear plant delayed

The Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd (NPCIL) has stated that commercial operation of Kudankulam's 1,000-MW unit atomic power plant in Tamil Nadu has again jumped the target date by a month to May. The second 1,000-MW unit at the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project is expected to start commercial operations in December 2014.
