DSL to co-develop SEZ

Dahej SEZ Ltd (DSL) has decided to co-develop its multi-product special economic zone (SEZ) project at Dahej by utilising the core competencies of companies having units inside the SEZ, for power, petroleum products, communication services and hospitality. DSL has signed a contract with Torrent Power, which is developing a 1,500 MW power plant in the SEZ, to provide electricity to the entire SEZ. Likewise, it has inked contracts with the Gujarat State Petronet Ltd (GSPL) for gas and petroleum products, and Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) for developing the communication network.
