Despite receiving all approvals, the extension of NH-58 starting from Udaipur connecting Jhadol, Som and Khedbrahma (Gujarat) is yet to begin. The widening work of Jaipur-Bhilwara-Udaipur has come to a hault with work after Kishangarh (Ajmer) stalled. Construction of bypass linking NH-8 with NH-76 is also facing hurdles despite completion of formalities of land acquisition.
