J&K wants Srinagar and Jammu as smart cities

The Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister has insisted the Centre to consider including the two cities of Srinagar and Jammu as smart cities under the ´Smart Cities Mission´. While Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assured the Centre´s full support in the holistic development of J&K state, the state chief minister has also sought assistance from the Centre for implementing the ´Agenda of Alliance´ that was formulated by the two parties last year.
