Centre to invest Rs.1,500 cr on Nagpur airport

The Central Government has decided to invest Rs 1,500 crore to upgrade the city airport and make it an international level one. According to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, as reported, the tender process was in final stages and work was expected to start soon. And, according to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, yoga exponent Baba Ramdev´s Patanjali Peeth would invest Rs 15,000 crore in setting up food parks in Nagpur, Katol and Amravati. The Mansar-Tumsar state highway will be fully concretised and work on it is expected to begin soon.
