Chhattisgarh to get rail corridors

Chhattisgarh will get a 180 km rail corridor on the Eastern Corridor, which will connect mines, a 150 km long corridor in the northern region and a 122 km long East-West Corridor. Indian Railways has entered into an agreement with the state government for the development of the these corridors, which would improve freight and passenger transit.
