Number of special trains increase for SCR

The highest number of special trains has been operated by the South Central Railway this year as compared to the last three years from Vijayawada and other stations. The number of trains is now 185 as against 56 in 2012-13, and 99 in 2011-12. These special trains have received the highest revenue of nearly Rs 5.88 crore during 2013-14 as compared to approximately Rs 1.86 crore in 2012-13, and Rs 2.21 crore in 2011-12.
