Paradip Port expansion granted EAC approval

The expert appraisal committee (EAC) of the Ministry of Environment granted environmental clearance to Posco’s US $12 bn expansion project at Paradip. The project will have steel production of 4 mtpa. EAC has imposed additional green conditions on Posco, to take effect on more investment.
